关于ubuntu 7.10 root用户转换的问题，急！

请问大侠，现在该怎么办呢？
我在装系统的时候只设置了一个密码：1121m，提示我输的时候我数的没错啊！

看提示信息不是因为你密码错误导致的无法更改root密码。貌似是Administration->Authority（权限管理）下你没有管理和编译组的权限，没碰到过这种情况，只能猜猜
