When I finished the install of UBUNTU 8.10, I found I cannot update the system.

System note:

E: 无法获得锁 /var/cache/apt/archives/lock - open (11 Resource temporarily unavailable)
E: Unable to lock the download directory
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

How can I do? I even cannot type Chinese!!! Help~~

BTW: I didn't make a spearate virtual disk for "/var" , is that a problem?

I just read that first, then try to do the update. The manual no useful for me! The system just can not update!

重启试试。重启之后更新看看提示
