Change system language,restart,then my system is still "half English and half Chinese", and here is my Language Support

There only have "Chinese" but cant change system language.What should I do for this?Is there have some way to keep system language is English and add pinyin in SCIM?(forgive my poor English )

yes, cannot see your picture. maybe you can try this:
launch the terminal, run: sudo apt-get upgrade

start your session in English, and install language support for Chinese.
