联想Y550显卡驱动问题，请大侠指点

系统是Ubuntu9.04 DVD版，关闭x-window安装NVIDIA-Linux-x86-190.32-pkg1.run驱动，正常；将系统重新启动后，出现提示：ubuntu is running in low-graphics mode

--->>选OK-->>提示并选择 ubuntu is running in low-graphics mode
--->>提示X在1分钟启动-->>等待----成功
打开“应用”--“用户程序”--“NVIDIA 设置”后任然提示You do not appear to be using the NVIDIA X driver. Please edit your X configuration file (just run `nvidia-xconfig` as root), and restart the X server-------------->>>>估计显卡还是没有驱动起来，请问怎样能解决这个问题。另外安装displayconfig-gtk时提示displayconfig-gtk已经废弃，在新立得中也搜索不到
