编译内核后在启动时遇到的问题

求助一下;下了2.6.94的包，编译也编译好了，然后在grub中这样写了：
title Ubuntu wu, kernel 2.6.29.4
root ()/ubuntu/disks
kernel /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.29.4 root=/dev/sda3
initrd /boot/initrd.img-2.6.29.4

title Ubuntu wu, kernel 2.6.29.4 (recovery mode)
root ()/ubuntu/disks
kernel /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.29.4 root=/dev/sda3 ro single
initrd /boot/initrd.img-2.6.29.4

我的启动分区在sda3，然后很容易的可以进系统，自检运行了一段时间后，就报这样的错误：
mount:mounting /procon/root/proc failed:Nosuch file or directory
filesystem doesn"thave sbin/init
no init found.Try passing init=booterg
