 文章标题 : 新手求助!装完UBUNTU就无法启动VISTA了

如题,原来机子装的是VISTA(C盘 NTFS),下载了8.04的DVD刻盘安装了(准备了两个分区,一个2G(SWAP),一个17G),把GRUB安装到了VISTA分区,现在可以启动ubuntu,启动菜单上虽然有VISTA,但是启动不了!!
下面是我的menu.lst文件,看论坛上说好像启动就全指它了,现在把它贴出来,请高手指教!

把 grub 安装到 vista 分区, vista 分区已经毁掉了。谁教你这么做的?

那还有方法补救吗?我要是重新安装了VISTA,UBUNTU还可以启动吗?要怎么做?

你先在终端执行下面命令

用 vista 安装盘启动,修复计算机,进入命令行,
先输入
c:
dir
看看是不是显示 c 盘坏了,如果是,说明当前的 c 盘正是 sda1,如果不是,看看 d 盘,e 盘。正常情况应该是 c 的。
如果是 c,输入
bootsect /nt60 c:
重启即可。
另外, menu.lst 好像被你改得挺乱的。

谢谢你,我已分别重装了vista和ubuntu.这回把grub安装到了hd0的位置,这样就更改mbr了吧?那要以后想重装vista或者想卸载ubuntu,怎么恢复mbr?

vista 安装盘可以恢复微软的 mbr,还有很多工具也可以。恢复后可以用 grub4dos 引导 ubuntu。置顶贴里有。
