怎样用grub引导u盘？？

我在u盘里装了个maxdos 5.6s系统，我想用grub引导它，我在grub菜单中加了这么一项
root （hd1,0）
savedefault
makeactive
chainloader +1
可是怎么也引导不起来！他说：“invalid system disk ,replace the disk,and then press any key”
可是我直接更改BIOS启动是正常的。
哪位大虾帮个忙！！
