装了8.10启动不XP

我的8.10是在硬盘安装的，装好，在启动菜单上，选择XP系统进不去XP，出现两行英文就不动了，不过8.10可以进，XP系统进不去？？怎么，我 试从新安装XP装完了的时候一般会自动从起，结果启动菜单还是跟以前一样，有4个启动菜单，第一个个是UBUNTU8.10第三第2也是最后一个是XP，进不去，怎么办阿？？郁闷

你那个启动项是自己加的吧？那是双硬盘特有的启动方式，你单硬盘没那么多事。
改成这样

楼主，你只有一个硬盘，为什么要map啊，把map注释掉，root(hd0,0)试试看。

这是因为引导GRUB的问题，要先安装XP，再安装UBUNTU。
本来大家英文都不好，看着头晕
