2.6.39 已可以更新。之前更新的还有 udev 和 util-linux，更新有风险，升级需谨慎。

如果出了initramfs，那么就用LiveUSB，下载好老lucid版本的udev, libudev, libgudev，按下面的这个方法chroot进去，挂载各个临时目录，挂载boot，然后执行 update-initramfs -u -k all

Nvidia graphic cards should work; packages for AMD cards have been just removed because they do not work with the old xorg stack, and I (still) don't have the motivation to build the whole thing.

Hey, calm down. Here is always full of crazy and exciting things, now we have udev and util-linux updated (wiped out multiarch support), together with 2.6.39 kernel. If you like to try this blood, go ahead and it won't be too much pain; if you care more about stability, please hold your step back.

This PPA is provided with NO WARRANTY, though I will try to help if you encounter any problem.

另外这个PPA里还有很多给 10.04 backport 的软件，但是出了问题我只能尽量帮忙，不要找我负责哦。

happyaron的内核ppa这两天天天更新

还行吧，这些基本上就是natty里的版本了，等11.10开始开发了才会跟进更多更新，到时候也可能会出现各种问题，大家做好心理准备。

目前 linux 2.6.38-8.42~lucid6 是可用的稳定版。

2.6.39-rc5 内核已上传，请保留2.6.38内核，万一出了任何问题请退回使用2.6.38并等待更新。

另外现在似乎还没有对ABI做保证，所以如果有自己编译模块的软件，比如 virtualbox、n卡驱动等，升级时可能需要手工触发模块编译。当然，眼下的这个版本还没有这个问题，遇到了我会来写解决办法。

接下来的一个多月里更新会很少，大家不要心急，我太忙了。

10.10 直接升级11.04 吧

我升级上去了，暂时一切正常，包括oss的声音输入输出，virtualbox4，n卡驱动。不知是否是心理作用，感觉图形上的表现提高很大。

另外耗电的bug应该是依然存在的，powertop里的wakeup数还是比较大，和2.6.38没什么区别。

2.6.39-rc6 已更新，一切正常。
