[问题]C Compiler

I've got some problems here when i try to install the scim-1.4.7.tar.gz package and it happens ofen when i do some installation just like libtool1.4_1.4.3-21.tar.gz.
the problem is the C Compiler,can anybody help me?

sudo apt-get install build-essential

sorry about what u said, but i just find this forum yesterday and i'm a new one for the kubuntu even for the linux, i'm learning........
