安装ubuntu基本系统＋xfce4＋定制应用程序手记
－－－－－－－－－－－－－－－－－－－－－
1、下一个ubuntu的alternate光盘，选择server或字符安装模式，安装基本系统（不要在安装组件时选桌面环境，这样就能不自动安装gnome桌面和相关软件了）
debian用户安装就是从server界面开始的，一样不要选择桌面系统，只安装基本系统。
2、如果希望避免连接镜像花费太多时间而在安装过程中不选择连接镜像的源，而用光盘上的文件直接安装完基本系统，可以等安装完基本系统后，再进入root帐户，用vi /etc/apt/source.list加入
ubuntu用户加入：

vi用法，选择到插入位置，键入a 或 i 或 o ；输入；esc键； ：w 写入； ：q退出； ：q！不保存退出

apt-get upgrade
保证基本系统升级到最新
3、(本小节内容适用于debian安装，ubuntu安装时代替root的普通帐户都自动设好了，ubuntu用户可略过本节)
安装sudo，以便能从普通帐户登录
visudo
添加一行
％adm ALL=(ALL) ALL
执行gpasswd -a username adm
4、reboot，用普通用户登录，开始安装xfce4，（用普通帐户完成后面的安装步骤可以避免很多不必要的错误）
包括以下基本软件和字体：
xorg xfce4
ttf-bitstream-vera ttf-arphic-uming ttf-arphic-ukai xfonts-wqy
scim-pinyin
im-switch
执行im-switch -s scim启用输入法
把simsun等字体复制到/usr/share/fonts/typeture中，sudo chmod 777 /usr/share/fonts/typeture/simsun.ttf把字体文件的权限设置成777
安装声卡alsa alsa-utils alsa-oss 运行alsaconf一直回车配置完毕
5、安装小工具
gcalctool numlockx eog gui-apt-key xfce4-mixer mlterm file-roller gnome-nettool gnome-system-tools network-manager-gnome debian-installer
可根据自己需要选择
6、配置
(1)重新启动电脑就可以进入桌面了，我没有安装gdm等图形界面输入用户名和密码，而是直接在命令行输入用户名密码，然后startx登录x界面。
(2)如果需要配置网络，可以用图形工具
network-admin
一般如果自动获取IP就不用设置了
(3)自动挂载U盘
ubuntu7.04中自动挂载U盘是设置好的，无需自己配置
debian etch中还需要自己配置，但是我也不会配置方法，会的人可以补充
（4）debian用户可以使用这个源来获取更新一些的软件，ubuntu用户不需要

(5)xfce4中用nautilus浏览windows网上邻居：
安装nautilus samba smbfs smbclient libgnomevfs2-extra ;用nautilus --no-desktop --browser命令或者在xfce菜单中的附件计算机中打开nautilus文件管理器，就可以在网络中看见局域网中网上邻居的内容了。xfce中默认是thunar作为文件管理器，速度快，但是看不到网上邻居。我是两个都用，需要浏览网上邻居时就用nautilus
(6)修改/boot/grub/menu.lst（不是必须的）
vi /boot/grub/menu.lst 在kernel /vmlinuz-2.6.18-3-k7 root=/dev/sda8 ro 后面加 vga=791 或者788, 来启动framebuffer ，791是1024X768,788是800X600。
7、安装应用程序
openoffice.org mplayer w32codecs iceweasel（ubuntu中是firefox） virtualbox gsopcast checkgmail stardict xpdf xpdf-chinese-simplified beryl emerald-themes
（部分软件是需要key的，大家可以自己google一下 ）
把下载的辞典拷贝到/usr/share/stardict/dic中即可
把checkgmail设置成开机启动
8、debian用户如果希望使用testing版本的源，里面有rar、unrar等软件，源如下（ubuntu用户略过）：

9、iceweasel比较慢，最快的可以安装w3m，是一个基于字符界面的浏览器，可以安装image插件，就能看到图片了，支持鼠标右键，里面有基本的控制功能。
否则就去下一个firefox2.0，解压后就可以使用，稍微快些（本小节可略过）。
10、xmms
1）安装 xmms xmms-wma xmms-mpg123-ja
2）xmms界面乱码的问题: sudo ln -s /etc/gtk/gtkrc.zh_CN /etc/gtk/gtkrc.zh_CN.utf-8
3）播放列表乱码的问题解决：
选项-->首选项-->字体：选中使用字体集，使用x字体，两个框内用下行代替

11、安装IE浏览器
安装wine cabextract
下载和安裝 IEs4Linux:
