ati agp x700显卡不能设置分辨率的奇怪问题，不同于已有问题

几个月前装了ubuntu7.1，搞了一个星期显卡驱动没装上就作罢了，今天又装了8.04正式版，ati的.8.4驱动装上了，也能启用，效果正常，但是却没法设置刷新率，不论在什么分辨率下刷新都是60hz找了很多帖子没有发现解决办法。按论坛里以前的解决办法修改xorg.conf文件里的显示器行频场频重启以后花屏，用sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg重新配置到设置完键盘布局就结束了，我自己已经找不到解决办法了，不知道那位高手可以帮菜鸟我解答这个问题。
另我的显示器是个二手的crt，内部可能已经被改装过，显卡无法捕捉到显示器ddc信息，在windows系统下也是一样，必须用ati tray tools之类的工具强制锁定刷新率才可以实现超过60hz的刷新率。
这是xorg.conf文件里的全部内容：
