[问题]NV显卡安装

我是NV8500卡，按照方法进行安装，在kernel编译完后总出现以下信息，请高手赐教。
ERROR: Unable to load the kernel module 'nvidia.ko'. This happens most
frequently when this kernel module was built against the wrong or
improperly configured kernel sources, with a version of gcc that differs
from the one used to build the target kernel, or if a driver such as
rivafb/nvidiafb is present and prevents the NVIDIA kernel module from
obtaining ownership of the NVIDIA graphics device(s).

Please see the log entries 'Kernel module load error' and 'Kernel
messages' at the end of the file '/var/log/nvidia-installer.log' for
more information.

它说你装的版本似乎不是为这个内核版本编译的，你是手工装的吧？
我记得要跑3D功能，要装386内核的（开机时出现选项单里有），不是generic内核

楼主，我是不敢在外面直接下载装了,只敢用新立得来装了

用uname -r 看你的内核

使用编译内核时的GCC版本+内核的HEADER文件

应该就没有问题了
