求救!显卡驱动问题。

忙乎了半个月,还是搞不定via的显卡驱动。装的是linux.via.com.tw上下的810驱动。现在一进系统提示:Ubuntu is running in low-graphics mode. The following error was encountered. You may need to update your configuration to solve this. (EE)via(0):Couldn't open "/dev/video2" 屏幕分辩率只能设为1280x720,其它分辨率全花屏,刷新率为0,不能改。本本应该设为1024x600@60的。
本本有一个内置摄像头。应该是/dev/video0 ,video2没这设备。本本的配置在签名里。
下面是根据via驱动里的readme文件写的xorg.conf

不用再试了。。我目前有vx700和vx800的netbook.经过测试了n次,也和楼上一样的结果。。我最后觉得不是驱动的问题。问题可能出在bios上面。。我手上有一台vx800的,当外接lcd是可以正常使用的。没有一点问题。说明驱动是可以正常使用的。vx800比vx700更加麻烦。。。因为在vx800的bios里面,默认用的lcd是1024*768...所以在系统里面也只能认出1024*768,,所以没有办法使用1024*600...楼上的朋友,你的无线网卡搞定吗?

vedio2 是指外接vga的意思 。。。我用外部的vga lcd就可以看到图想。看来离成功只有一步了。。如果在xorg指定。输出到本本的lcd呢?

楼主有没有具体的VX800的DRIVER,发过来看一下,我今天就遇到了VX800 PLATFORM的机子,也是DRIVER挂不上去。看看你用的是哪版了

挖坟无用滴,还是用新版本的发行版,试试能否支持via好点吧。via的显卡驱动现在开源了。只能期待开源驱动能更好支持了。 :em06
