[求助] HP NC4200的Intel 915GM集成显卡问题

我是从纯Dos安装的Ubuntu 8.10 ，安装时好像一开始就报错，说有个包执行失败，好像是检测硬件的时候，安装好后我的xorg.conf就一直是空白的，分辨率是1024X768 60Hz，而且只有这个分辨率能选。

后来我去装3D桌面，发现没有效果，去日志查了一下，显卡部分的报错如下

于是我试过915resolution，reinstall过 xserver-xorg-vedio-intel ，dpkg --reconfigure xserver-xorg过，xorg.conf还是空的，分辨率那里还是只有1024X768的选项。

最后我进恢复模式，在root下运行了Xorg -configure，这次是生成了一个xorg.conf.new，我在每个色深下都加了Modes "1024X768" "800X600"，结果重启进去一看，还是只有一个分辨率。。日志报错好像也没半。。求帮助～
