linux下如何使用爱国者移动硬盘

操作系统为ubuntu 6.06
移动硬盘为爱国者移动存储王
U盘能正常使用，但是似乎它不能完全认出移动硬盘。

dmesg信息如下：

uhci-hcd是低速接口啊。
不能完全认出移动硬盘。。。是指什么啊。

我的意思是它似乎发现ScanLogic Corp. SL11R-IDE IDE Bridge 了，但是系统还没能mount上

识别和挂载，本来就是2个步骤的。
nautilus打开时，应该会自动挂载，
其他的情况，是需要自己干预，才会挂载的。
usb的，使用pmount /dev/sda1 /media/sda1 这样的容易挂载。但有可能会造成不能写的情况（比较少出些）。
自己修改fstab，才是最正常的方法。

现在的关键是我没法mount，现在还没有/dev/sda＊这个设备

dmesg看。
插入磁盘，dmesg看最后的信息。就有详细的东西。包括名称，协议，识别的设备名（就是你要的/dev/sd??），可能是sdc1哦

昨天买了个USB2.0的移动硬盘盒，上面写着"For IBM Travelstar"，也不知道是不是IBM出的，换上之后在公司体会到了USB2.0和1.0之间巨大的差别。
今天抱着试一试的态度进入Ubuntu之后插上之后系统居然认出来了！

爱国者的那个芯片是ScanLogic Corp. SL11R-IDE IDE Bridge ，需要刷新Firmware才能支持Linux，楼主有需要可以给我联系，我这儿还有很早以前下的Firmware，需要Win98才能刷新。。。
