关于宽屏配置的问题

我的本本是intel 915的，xorg.conf中相关的配置内容如下：

可是分辨率还是1024*768的，这个怎么改啊，
还有，用“文本编辑器”打开这个文件是只读的，怎么改成可写的啊

sudo gedit /etc/xorg.conf #用管理员权限修改
Depth 24
Modes "1280x768" #修改分辨率

楼上的，我需要的就是1280x768啊，配置文件中也是1280x768，可现在系统中显示的是1024*768，这是怎么回事啊

搞定了，用
sudo apt-get install 915resolution
下载安装显卡的补丁后就好了
