但有个问题：怎样才能“重新调整CPU风扇的参数”？？
我在WIN下，开机运行EVEREST，它能帮我重新调整CPU风扇的参数，使转速从4000＋降到2000+...静多了。。。
LZ见多识广，希望能提点宝贵的建议。。。。。

以下是我的硬件信息：
主板： 技嘉8i945GZME-RH F9
CPU： 奔腾D 双核 2.8G(原装的CPU风扇，所以噪声就是大）

我也是刚用Ubuntu没多久的小菜鸟,帮不上你什么忙.
好像风扇转速一般都是主板BIOS控制的吧,系统里能调的不多.Ubuntu下现在还没有调风扇转速的软件吧,新立得里仅有的几个适用于对应的硬件,像DELL,ASUS的.
另外里你的显示结果还有点问题,温度2个负的,一个93°C....Ubuntu下探测到的传感器和Win下一至吗"ITE IT8718F"?

温度的显示跟WIN下一样，主要是我在EVEREST的配置中选中了“重新配置CPU风扇参数”这一功能，就使风扇静了下来（其实是传感器检测有误，CPU温度根本没那么高，导致风扇拼命转。。。），"ITE IT8718F"是一样的，我打开机箱查了也是这型号。。。

硬件厂商是最大祸首，WIN下降￥＃％……￥的软件一大堆

为什么我这就是不显示风扇转速呢?

我的cpu是intel pentium M 1.86GHz Dothan 的处理器，用sensors-detect 检测的时候说
no sensor was found. 可是我命名可以查看cpu的温度啊？

sensor-applet里面已经显示了。。。。
不过我用 modprobe ibm-acpi 之后就可以显示很多了，比如fan, HDD, GPU, 等等。
不过没有找到给intel (R) Pentium (R) M 降温的软件。
我的cpu温度一直维持在44 C左右，还行吧？？？
另外为什么我cpu frequency 一直是800MHz 呢？

晕死，不会是真的吧，我的U是 赛扬D331 ，虽没装温度测控软件，不过从风扇的声音听，好像比WINDOWS下小多了哦

另外，前面提到了我的CPU夏天温度高到70几度,虽然主板有CPU烧不死的保护技术，还是有点恐怖,所以想采用CPU idle的方式进行降温,找到这么一个小软件Athcool，适用于采用Athlon/Duron处理器的系统。
安装降温软件Athcool:

查看它支持的芯片组:

使用athcool开始降温:

打开xsensors看了下,CPU温度下降了10度左右,效果非常明显，不过麻烦的是每次开机要去运行它,这个夏天不用为CPU温度发愁了哈!!

请问你的安装源是使用哪个？我的里面找不到athcool这个软件包。我是用UBUNTU7.10。我在http://packages.debian.org/sid/athcool 和http://packages.ubuntu.com/zh-cn/source/gutsy/athcool 这里分别下载了两个版本的athcool的源代码，也已经安装了pciutils-dev的软件包，但是在make的时候都出现下面这样的错误：
