16：10液晶不以能正确地设置分辨率，现请各位帮忙。

最近换了台MAYA 的16：10液晶，本来心里就应该有说不出的欢喜，但当我重新装好新的UBUNTU的时候，发觉一切都变扁了，我又不能在分辨率设置里设我的分辨率，我按论坛的方法来处理，还是不行，好几次还入不了“X”，后来还是能处理好，但就是不能正确地设置分辨率，现请各位高手帮忙。
我的基本情况是：NVIDIA的GeForce4 MX 4000，MAYA 16：10液晶，我装了nvidia-glx
请问应该怎样安装？

HorizSync是抄显示器后面的铭牌的。
宽屏，奇怪的屏，只能手动强制修改xorg.conf。加分辨率。ddcprobe这些没用的。

ddc如果能认出你的显示器的话，就不用改了。

不正常都是显卡ddc认不出显示器来。

直接手工填写，lcd 不用填什么行场频的

"1440x1440" 这个数值不是我改的,我一装好就是出这个数值的了,我也觉得十分奇怪,但把这个数值改为"1440*900_60"(这是我的显示器建议的参数)后,还是用不了这个值,而且我NVIDIA-SETTINGS这个命令时,出来的画面也不对,这个画面是驱动没装好时才会出现的,但我把自带的三个驱动还有从网上下的.RUN都装过,还是不行.
而且我的终端会显示:Using X configuration file: "/etc/X11/xorg.conf".

怎么能是nv呢？
装好驱动后应该是nvidia。。。。

这几天碰到的都是mx400 mx440之类改不了分辨率的情况，我现在用M$ 上网，手上没ubuntu ,........................这么古董的显卡还用它干嘛

中全是mx4xx的问题。


我记得有人说过mx4000有点异类的。


加上这么古董的显卡，配一台如此时尚的显示器，真是面子工程害死人，严厉打击不注重内涵，搞面子工程ubuntu fans 　　:lol:




1440*1440 ,应该是显卡ddc没正确认出你的显示器参数，应该是显示器的ddc版本高，显卡的ddc版本太老的原因。



试下用live cd 开机，看下live cd 自动生成的xorg.conf是否正常，如果正常，干脆直接覆盖硬盘中的。然后把驱动卸载后重装下驱动

如果不正常，也尽可能相信live cd ,用live cd 原始的xorg.conf改下，加上1440*900试下。那后面的60我认为不必加，因为显示器是lcd ，这一点你的显卡ddc还是认出来了。



也可试下，系统---首选项中-----改刷新率

我试过几次装错了驱动和设错了XORG.CONF入不了X,我就是用LIVECD里的XORG.CONF覆盖错误的设置,从而才可以进入X,所以,用LIVECD的方法是不可行的了.至于我的显卡,我以前也是装过7.04的,那时是用CRT显示器,当时是没有问题的,只是我忘记了应该装什么驱动,又或者NV的驱动改了,我换了显示器才不行的,你可以看看我以前发的帖子.我以前是成功的.

在网上找下或irc上问下，我用的N卡安装相当简单：　受限驱动打钩，或sudo apt-get install nvidia-glx-new/ sudo apt-get install nvidia-glx

或sh xxxxxx.run 都没问题


虽然我没有接宽屏显示器，xorg.conf中也没有宽屏内容，但nvdia-settings中都有宽屏选项
