Q. Is Ubuntu Linux® supported and certified for use with Informix® Dynamic Server™?


A. Ubuntu Linux is based on Debian GNU/Linux. Both distributions are currently not supported for use with any IBM® Informix® Dynamic Server™ products.

For a list of supported Linux® distributions please refer to the IBM web page "Informix platform support for Linux®" at the related information section.

Alternatively, contact your local technical support office.
