小弟是一中型网吧的网管，最近网吧想从新建立一台流媒体播放服务器（原来的网管是用WINDEOWS 2003建的，结果经常遭病毒袭击还经常当机），这个任务自然落到我身上。老板要求“不能死机更不能中病毒”（>.<）。使用LINUX一年多的小弟自然想到了用LINUX版本的HELIX SERVER，但是遇到如下问题：
小弟用的是UBUNTU，而且内核已经升级为2.6.15-25-686。下载HELIX DNA SERVER 10.1，然后按照网络上的说法安装。遇到的问题是不能使用默认的流媒体传输端口554，使用554就提示该端口不能被打开。小弟以为换个端口便能解决，结果换完端口后依然不能正常使用。网上传闻说2.4的内核可以安装成功，莫非是内核版本问题？
不知道各位高手能不能给个办法，帮忙给小弟我解决这个问题，好涨点养家糊口的MONEY吧，谢谢了！！

楼上的，按你的方法没有成功。
我的是ubuntu 8.10 + Helix mobile server 10.0.5，
安装正常，运行时先是报你说的那个错误，然后我就export LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.4.1 ，现在报的错：
/Bin/rmserver: error while loading shared libraries: libm.so.6: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
并且，这时候连ls命令都报错：
ls: error while loading shared libraries: librt.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
如果我再来个export LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.6.27
ls命令又正常了。但rmserver的错误又回到第一个错误上了。。。。
怎么办啊？难道不能在8.10上安装吗？
