我安装了firestarter。开机过程中看到已经起动了firestarter。但是进入gnome后看不到这个程序在运行。在终端下ps -A也看不到这个程序在运行。不知道开机的那个起动firestarter是什么意思?
另一个不明白的地方就是我的samba。以前发现过,当防火墙开启并且没有配置好的时候,samba上是看不到网络上的其它成员的。但是既然上面那些表示firestarter没有运行,那为什么samba不能访问windows网络呢?
下面是我的smb.conf文件,我也没有修改什么,就是改了一个workgroup
还有就是wins support=yes

将防火墙关闭后能看到吗?
我的建议是:
首先把所有的服务在没有防火墙的情况下配置,测试好之后,再打开防火墙!
另:
防火墙真正起作用的是IPTABLES,你所说的firestarter只是它的图形配置界面而已!

关键是我的那个firestarter在开机的时候起动,但是ps -A无法看到,也不知道起动了没有。也没有办法关阿。我学学iptables的设置去。也就是说只要iptable配置好了,就算不用起动firestarter防火墙的功能也是有的了?

你不要看该程序是否已经启动,因为是IPTABLES在起作用,看也白看,你应该可以运行这个 firestarter 吧!可以看到它的运行界面吧!到它的运行界面中把防火墙功能给关了就可以了呀!
