[Question]Help with UBUNTU Live CD Installation

When I'm booting with UBUNTU Live CD, No matter what version I'm using.(I've tried 7.04,7.10,8.04,9.04)

The boot menu is correct. However , I can only choose "Memory test" option,it runs properly.
If I try other options like "Install UBUNTU",or "Try UBUNTU",or text mode installation,then I get a black screen with a cursor blinking.
And that's all. No matter how long I wait, the black screen continues.
And I intend to use UBUNTU Studio 9.04.

The system I'm using:
Lenovo V80 Laptop. (A bit old maybe, bought in 2002)

(It is not related to removable drive because the problem continues when I remove everything that I can remove)

Choose " Try Ubuntu ...." and before press "enter" to boot, press F6, choose boot options "acpi=off, noapic, nolapic" and delete "quiet and splash" then try again.

So do I edit the grub command after installation?

I think it is necessary to edit the menu.lst to add the " acpi=off noapic nolapic " for the kernel options.
