分析一下FC3上的font.conf

我办公室FC3上字体显示很不错的,按照http://www.erning.net/zh_CN/archives/000002.html上的说明
安装了windows下的字体,也没配置什么font.conf文件什么的。显示效果很不错,下面贴图。

刚看了一下FC3下的font.conf文件,发现和dapper中的还是有很大不一样。不知道把FC3上的字体以及font.conf拷到dapper 下会是怎么样?

楼主在这里灌水吗? FC3中默认对中文的显示也不咋地吧? 真正有改变的事FC, 那也是加了文鼎字体的原因.缺少中文字体你把font.conf再怎么改也都不会达到那种效果。
这个字体并非FC3原来的配置文件,FC中默认怎么可能有simsun?

呵呵,我是菜鸟嘛!用了这么几年的linux,一般的应用,写写程序,看看文献,上上网什么的,到现在还不会配置字体,说来很可笑。因为配置字体很麻烦,所以从来都是装英文locale,然后就在网上找中文显示还不错的配置方法。宿舍和办公室的FC3还是一年多前弄好的,现在都忘了。对了,还装了msttcorefonts。现在在本本上装ubuntu,想好好学学这些什么什么字体的初级知识。

nmvr2600给我讲讲这些入门知识吧,呵呵,什么Sans啊,Serif啊,SimSun等等都不知道啥意思。多谢多谢!
