scim默认输入为何不能是英文

请问，大家的scim输入法是默认中文吗？
我的输入法开机启动，智能拼音，系统总是默认为中文，这样很多时间打英文就必须按shift键一次，很麻烦的说
如何能让scim启动，并且在英文的位置，需要输入中文时，再按shift键，可否
困惑好多天了，一直找不到设置问题
我的环境是6.06，按照wiki的安装方式安装的中文输入法
这是配置文件~/.scim/config
