scim-pinyin输入法安装完后的问题

本人是个新手
对Ubuntu不懂 我是的Ubuntu 8.10 的
我是从网上找的方法来安装拼音输入法的
但是在早上我安装完之后，按照别人的方法配置了下，
最后重启了机子
结果就进不去了，当输入username和password之后，就出现了窗口
有如下提示信息：
Your session only lasted less than 10 seconds ,if
you have not logged out yourself ,this could mean that
there is sime installation problem or that you may be
out of diskspace .Try logging in with one if the failsafe
session to see if you can fix this problem

[/etc/gdm/xsession: Beginning session setup.....
setting IM through im-switch for locale=zh_CN.
start IM through /home/ideniece/.xinput.d/zh_CN linked to /etc/x11/xinit/xinput.d/scim.
Smont Common Input Method 1.4.7
Lanuching a SCIM daemon with socket FrontEnd.....
Loading simple config module .....
Creating backend.....
Loading x11 FrontEnd module
Starting scim as daemon....
Launching a SCIM process with x11....
Loading socket config module
Creating backend ......
Loading x11 FrontEnd module
GTK Panel of SCIM 1.4.7
Starting SCIM as daemon
SCIM has been successfully lanuched
export : 3 : -d : bad variable name ]

我从baidu,google,forum.ubuntu.org.cn等上都看了很多
但是都不起作用，试过sudo apt-get remove scim-pinyin 但是还是不行，开机还是那样
我还sudo apt-get remove scim结果重新启动还是那个错误
我卸载了又安装，安装了又卸载，但是还是不行
找了好几种方法，都尝试了还是不行
谁能给我个好的能够彻底解决问题的方案
