新买的Dell 本本，已经为了装ubuntu花了一个月时间，还没有搞定，参考了很多资料，但是始终还是解决不了，希望大家帮一下忙。
安装完成ubuntu后
apt-get update
apt-get dist-upgrade
下载nv官方驱动：NVIDIA-Linux-x86-100.14.09-pkg1.run
sudo sh NVIDIA-Linux-x86-100.14.09-pkg1.run
安装一切正常，但是重启后xwindow还是起不起来，查看日志后显示如下内容：
Failed to initialize the NVIDIA kernel module! Please ensure that there is a supported NVIDIA GPU in this system,and that the NVIDIA device files have been created properly.Please consult the NVIDIA README for details.
不知道怎么解决了，大家帮忙看一下，谢谢。

这一步在桌面上的终端（应用程序 附件 终端）上去做，如果你熟悉vi 可控制台下用sudo vi 代替gksu geditalexwym 写了：唯一一步没操作的是
gksu gedit /etc/default/linux-restricted-modules-common
我执行的时候报错
(gksu:5799):Gtk-WARNING **:cannot open display:
不知道怎么回事
但是后来我用vi也把参数改成nv了
请问怎么回事情?
如果改为nv不管用，请再看下帖子，帖子更新了
