烦死了.安装gf ti4200驱动总装不了,有人能帮帮我吗?

驱动安装时候要安装Kernel Interfac,总在这步进行不下去了,网上找了N多资料都解决不了!

我也在论坛里找到有个朋友提的问题跟我差不多,但还是没人能解答,

从nVidia网站下载了NVIDIA-Linux-x86-96.43.05-pkg1.run安装文件，参考了网上资料的安装方法,但总是在以下的提示中无法进行安装了,也搞不懂彼回事,执行之后，依次看到了以下几个提示：

No precompiled kernel interface was found to match your kernel; would you like the installer to attempt to download a kernel interface for your kernel from the NVIDIA ftp site (ftp://download.nvidia.com)?
YES NO

我理所当然选择YES，然后看到

No matching procompiled kernel interface was found on the NVIDIA ftp site; this means that the installer will need to compile a kernel interface for your kernel.
OK

没有其他选择，“OK”继续

ERROR: You do not appear to have libc header files installed on your system. Please install your distribution's libc development package.
OK

还是没有其他选择，“OK”继续

ERROR: Installation has failed. Please see the file '/var/log/nvidia-installer.log' for details. You may find suggestions on fixing installation problems in the README available on the linux driver download page at www.nvidia.com
OK

"OK"之后就退出了安装程序

有哪位朋友帮解答下怎么回事,我应如何做才行

AMD 3200+
Vdata 1G DDR400
Leadtek GF Ti4200 128M
MSI K8T Neo2
Maxtor 80G

本人是从Windows过渡Ubuntu Liunx的初学者!希望前辈们能帮我解答这一难题
