如何改变系统首选项

已经成功安装了UBUNTU8.04了，可有了一个问题，每次进windows系统的时候总要选，毕竟出于工作的原因，还是用XP比较多，每次开机总要选，而且只有10秒钟的时间.
请问怎么修改才能让开机后系统首选项停在windows项上，还有那个10秒倒计时在哪儿改。谢谢了！
