The install of scim-chewing is perfect. However when I went to the "IMEngine" "SCIM Input Method Setup", i cannot find the chewing method. Is there anything I can do to solve this problem?

I guess I've found where the problem is but not so sure.

The reason is probably the scim in our sources is 1.2.2, and the all the IMEngine should be installed into the same folder.

e.g.

for scim-pinyin package, the path should be as follows (this is a part of it):

/usr/lib/scim-1.0/1.2.0/IMEngine
/usr/lib/scim-1.0/1.2.0/IMEngine/pinyin.so
/usr/lib/scim-1.0/1.2.0/SetupUI
/usr/lib/scim-1.0/1.2.0/SetupUI/pinyin-imengine-setup.so

however the scim -chewing in our sources is installed like this:

/usr/lib/scim-1.0/1.0.0/IMEngine
/usr/lib/scim-1.0/1.0.0/IMEngine/chewing.so
/usr/lib/scim-1.0/1.0.0/SetupUI
/usr/lib/scim-1.0/1.0.0/SetupUI/chewing-imengine-setup.so

因为，我采用的scim 是从 http://apt.debian.org.tw/pool/s/scim-chewing/
下载的，由于

http://apt.debian.org.tw/dists/hoary/main/

没有 scim-chewing 的 hoary的编译版本，所以使用最新debian的包替换了。暂时没有好的解决办法。
