[Help] Why can't I input chinese in Kubuntu? Locale problem?

I change the locale to GB18030. Then scim and fcitx all not work. I can invoke them by Ctrl + space, but they all imput mass codes, not chinese.

Can anybody help me ?

修改locale可以直接改/etc/enviroment

我现在在magic下。

Ubuntu的问题还是没解决。我想用GB18030的Locale。楼上的意思是必须用UTF8么？
