我把ubuntu-6.06.1-alternate-amd64.iso和vmlinuz，initrd一起放在E盘，装好GRUB后，重启，进入GRUB写入命令：
kernel (hd0,5)/vmlinuz root=/dev/ram ramdisk_size=32000 devfs=mount,dall
initrd (hd0,5)/initrd
boot
选择完语言时区后，就遇到了这个问题，它提示：There are a problem reading data from the CD-ROM.Please make sure it is in the drive.If retrying does not work,you should check the integrity of your CD-ROM.
然后就不知道怎么办了，望各位大哥大姐帮忙，谢谢！

它的意思是说你的光碟镜像数据有问题。

实在不行自己刻个盘，在liveCD下面装吧。我原来也是用硬盘安装不行。

如果你的分区是 ：c/d/e/.......
那么你find /vmlinuz
看看 是不是 （hd0,5)
我想 如果正常应该是 （hd0,2)才对
找不到你的镜像文件自然装不下去了 。。。
我也是装了 N此才弄明白，，，慢慢了 ，碰到问题才是学习的 好机会
