google talk的问题

在win下，用google的客户端能登上去，可在linux下，用gaim,kopete都不行，不知是什么问题...
ps:ubuntu 7.04,教育网内，上网需802.1x认证。

我的gaim中也不能用gtalk.还好gtalk可以在firefox里面用。现在就是这样用的。

resource: google talk
Jabber Options:
Allow plaintext auth over unencrypted streams
Connect port: 5222
Connect server: talk.google.com
Proxy Options:
Proxy type: Use GNOME Proxy Settings
