 文章标题 : 关于昨天提问的修改了登录选项导致不能进入登录界面--[已解决]

现在我在网络查了一些情况,似乎比较明朗了。

我是ubuntu和kubuntu共存,用gdm登录,然后在gnome下面使用了“系统-系统管理-登出窗口-辅助功能-启用辅助功能登录”的那个选项我勾选了。在百度下面搜到为在6.10下面的确出现了不能登录的情况,说明不是个例。但是都没有给出如果已经不能登录该如何解决的办法,只是说这是一个bug,并且提醒不要勾选此项。

可以看到相关信息,不过我现在已经勾选并且进入不了登录界面了。不过可以使用tty,我请问我该如何解决此问题,修改哪个文件可以搞定?

现在有一个更好的消息就是可以通过选择recovery mode,然后startx用root身份进入x-windows(gnome下面)
不过尝试修改回登录选项,弹出对话框为现在不是gdm登录,所以不能修改。。所以不知道各位大侠,有没有解决的办法。。

再补充一部分。。现在我进入系统X了。。但是方式是,先通过liveCD恢复整个/TMP文件夹,接着从起,先进入tty,然后删除了/tmp/.X0-Lock文件,然后才startx的。不过问题是只要进行登录窗口的选项操作就会回到原来的样子。。请各位帮忙啊~~

现在轻松多了。。因为问题解决了。。呵呵。。。

在搜索过程中看到其实在ubuntu论坛早些时候也有人提问这个问题,一共从百度搜索到了2次。但是很可惜的都是没有人回帖,最后也不了了之了。。

可以证明的是,选项,启动辅助登录是个bug。
我在自己查看文件时候注意到了那个addGTK..=true
我接着使用百度搜索此项目,的确,默认为false,于是我改了过来。其实就是这么一个小小的改动。呵呵。。


需要修改的文件位置:sudo gedit /etc/gdm/gdm.conf-custom
文件最下面开始往上找:

就像我认为的。其实就是得了个感冒发烧什么的。别一下子就判成癌症了。。

还有:也许在你眼里我这算是瞎掰吧。天真吧。幼稚吧。但是我很快乐。我可以肯定,在以后如果有兄弟在不小心做了同样的修改并中招以后,他不需要通过从装整个系统而苦恼,因为他可能和你的分区模式一样,只有/和swap,然后需要需要tar整个home备份自己的重要文件,接着是估计需要30分种的从装和估计几个小时的升级+安装附加软件,但是现在他只需要修改一个文件的一个单词而已。至少他可以在百度里面或者在本论坛得到解决方法。

现在,我至少还了解了gdm配置文件的所在位置,和基本分布情况。

在这里,我还是愿意强调linux的最大不同就是,它不是什么最优秀的操作系统,但是他提供了最开心的解决方式和讨论模式。倒是在win下面,不少看似很厉害的人经常烦躁的对新手的提问说,你从装吧,ghost吧。。怎么瞎掰啊。。怎么不装杀毒软件啊。怎么不用正版啊。

自我再做个补充。想到了自己搜索gdm配置文件

路径如下:
/etc/gdm/factory-gdm.conf和/etc/gdm/gdm.conf-custom这两个文件

我的factory-gdm.conf为

我的问题是:
我修改了用户文件的路径
原来LJB用户的配置文件保存在\HOME\LJB里,
我直接在用户和组里面把它改为\ROOT\LJB了,
结果启动的时候,用LJB登录,说找不到配置文件,尝试在HOME里找,但随后又提示HOME里的文件没有权限读取吧,

现在就是进不了系统,
我用LIVE CD进去后,不知道怎么弄才能改回来?
可以的HOME下面看到LJB这个包,
但在用户组里面去找不到LJB这个用户,我添加新用户又不起作用,
应该如何操作?
对了,ROOT登录没有开户

我进行了和楼主一样的操作,出现了一样的问题,鼠标在那里转圈,gdm不能登录,最后在google上以gdm和登录窗口为关键词搜索,在linuxsir的论坛上看到了楼主的帖子,才解决了。

感想:如果是用于日常使用的系统,在不知道自己在进行什么操作的情况下,就不要操作了,也不要去试用那些无关紧要的功能,比方说这个登录声音,毕竟系统是复杂的,时间是宝贵的;如果是用于折腾,除外。

但折腾也有折腾的方法,可以事半功倍,也可以事倍功半,自己的教训:再也不从自己根本不懂的顶层和图形界面去折腾了,比如各种linux发行版和各种窗口管理器,老老实实、谨小慎微的使用就是,毕竟linux是从服务器而来,进行自己并不了解的配置是会搞瘫系统的,有问题,等着官方去解决吧;另一方面,从c语言、shell编程、lfs文档、gnu工具和常用软件的配置文件入手,去学习和了解linux系统。

最后:确认gdm的辅助登录选项是个bug,我用的窗口管理器是feisty下的xfce(LinuxMint),也出了这个问题,最好是向ubuntu官方报告bug;谢谢楼主的帖子为我们澄清了这个问题,在解决之前,我一直是以recovery模式开机,直接执行startx,启用xwindow,绕过了gdm,所以还有一个建议:如果出了问题,宁愿忍受,也不要逃避(重装),但一定要善用google。
