I am Chinese , but now I have no choice but to use English. I can into this forum ,but I can not find a way to input Chinese.There is no such input way like the way in windows. I have copy the command in the console ,but it is no used.
Could somebody help me ?

"打开system-">system manager->language support，在chinese前面打勾，然后点apply，等待安装完毕。然后将默认语言设置为中文。" I have finish this step,but I still can not find any change. there is no new icon added.How can I switch between current input method and Chinese input method? ctrl+space or ctrl+shift?Seemed no use... I am new bird, help me ...
"你可以用scim的中文输入法 " how to intall? paste the command line that I found in this forum about scim install into the console terminal ,right? Or look for some install files to use? And how can I use the input method ,is there any hot key can do this job?

i encountered the same problem as the above brother.
i have finish the configuration of the SCIM, and the brand of "Chinese input" has come into the display, but i also can not input Chinese? i have try a lot of times , click"ctrl+space" , restart, OS, reset the SCIM, every idea that i can imagine, all these can not give a good help. what should i do?
