如何修改menu.lst?

我用文本编辑器打开boot\grub\menu.lst后;修改了menu.lst
保存时出现错误;
You do not have the permissions necessary to save the file.
Please check that you typed the location correctly and try again.
请问我应该这么办;我准备修改配置文件来做多重引导的?
请大侠赐教

没有权限,运行

sudo gedit /boot/grub/menu.lst
连sudo也不知道,小心点啊,注意备份。

。。。。楼上说的对,没有用sudo。既然这样,建议楼主先对menu.lst做个备份。

代码: 全选

sudo cp /boot/grub/menu.lst /boot/grub/menu.lst.bak
然后再对menu.lst进行操作,这样失败以后进不去系统的话,还可以通过Live CD进入Ubuntu修复回来。具体的修复方法如下:
先查看Ubuntu所在分区:

代码: 全选

sudo fdisk -l
然后将得到的Ubuntu分区挂载到/mnt下

代码: 全选

sudo mkdir /mnt/ubuntu
sudo mount -t ext2 /dev/sdaX /mnt/ubuntu
然后将menu.lst.bak恢复为menu.lst

代码: 全选

sudo cp /mnt/ubuntu/boot/grub/menu.lst.bak /mnt/ubuntu/boot/grub/menu.lst
执行完成之后Umount Ubuntu的分区,然后重启即可

代码: 全选

sudo umount /mnt/ubuntu
sudo reboot
