8.10支持SIS的显卡吗？

原来8.04已经有SIS的驱动了，可以把分辨率上到1280x800，不知道8.10可不可以用？

我的F1400,8.10连低分辨率都进不去，黑屏

我的也是，SIS M760，屏幕黑一半白一半！不知如何解决！

还没找到8。10的方法，我感觉8。04和8。10不大啊，就是分辨率的问题不能解决，要是有sis的3D驱动就好了

不用3D驱动，能把分辨率上到1280X800就行了，没那么多的要求。神舟的本本，能办公就好了。

what a coincidence? I was reading the same thing minutes ago and boom I see this topic.

the solution I found is for KUBUNTU but I thought mentioning the solution here may be in use for GNOME users.

the solution is simple. I just had to turn the RANDR monitor autochecking service. I dunno what is it in GNOME. but I doubt it is gonna be way different. Hope I helped.

sudo modprobe sisfb

in a virtual terminal, then switch back to the normal terminal and ctrl-alt-bkspce to restart x.

If that worked, then you can add sisfb to /etc/modules so that it will be loaded at startup.

已经试过了这个方法，对我的SIS显卡无效，不知道为什么。
在英文论坛上也没有看到有解决方法的。还是用回8.04算了。虽然8.10很好，可是用不了也没办法啊。
