Ubuntu is the best for beginner

I have tried SUSE10.3, the speed is really slow. what's more, the application download is slow and troublesome and the chinese input also be a problem. although, SUSE's interface is beautiful. However, for me, speed and robustness is the first priority. So, I really recommend Ubuntu for beginner or newbie.
