使用alternate镜像升级ubuntu8.04到8.10

假定ubuntu-8.10-alternate-i386.iso在你的家目录中
打开终端后
代码:
sudo mkdir /media/cdrom0 #如果有cdrom0目录，这一步跳过
sudo mount -t iso9660 -o loop ubuntu-8.10-alternate-i386.iso /media/cdrom0/

sudo apt-cdrom -m -d /media/cdrom0 add
sudo apt-get update

以上步骤是使用光盘镜像作源的步骤。
我们只需要执行到装载镜像，
然后执行
sudo /media/cdrom0/cdromupgrade (可以自己打开看一下脚本，必须要绝对路径的地址)

然后就是图形界面的升级步骤了。

In the event that you encounter a bug using the alternate installer, please file a bug on the debian-installer package.

There are two images available, each for a different type of computer:

PC (Intel x86) alternate install CD http://releases.ubuntu.com/releases/8.1 ... e-i386.iso
For almost all PCs. This includes most machines with Intel/AMD/etc type processors and almost all computers that run Microsoft Windows, as well as newer Apple Macintosh systems based on Intel processors. Choose this if you are at all unsure.
64-bit PC (AMD64) alternate install CD http://releases.ubuntu.com/releases/8.1 ... -amd64.iso
Choose this to take full advantage of computers based on the AMD64 or EM64T architecture (e.g., Athlon64, Opteron, EM64T Xeon, Core 2). If you have a non-64-bit processor made by AMD, or if you need full support for 32-bit code, use the Intel x86 images instead.

用bt或者amule先下下来的主意挺不错的，应该比传统意义上的升级快些的。

谢谢了，是否升级要考虑下，至少先要备份文件，出问题可不好玩。

这要怎么操作啊？我不懂，我把镜像放在home下的个人文件夹里
