看来不能轻易更新，更新也会出问题。
原在老本本PM1.1G CPU ,855GME集成显卡，新装8.10后很正常，显示特效都能开了，可更新系统后。显示就出问题了，驱动特效都有，只是桌面上下错了点位（本本LCD,非CRT），桌面上边一行显示的是桌面底下的内容。查看“屏幕分辨率” 发现原来的刷新率为60Hz,而现在被改为54Hz了，查看xorg.conf内容少的很。没有任何其他配置参数。由于自己太白菜，不敢贸然下手自己修改。

请朋友帮忙分析下，我改如何入手改正

我的显示要事出现分辨率问题，我直接把xorg.cof删除掉，分辨率就正常了，要不你也试试。

我是把显示里面的选项选到default后就好了，就是不知道你行不行！

谢谢楼上二位，我试过 sudo dpkg-reconfigure -phigh xserver-xorg 也不行，晚上试试把xorg.conf删掉试试。

rayovo 说到的default 缺省值选项，好像没有找到

另外想手动修改下刷新率 ，而xorg.conf里面并没有刷新率内容，这个桌面的54Hz刷新率设置是保存在哪个文件里的？

sudo xvidtune，这个会给你一个警告提示说有可能损坏显示器或者显卡，如果你想继续下去点击OK

　　2.用left和right按钮调屏幕位置，再Apply按钮试一试看看实际的效果，不满意再用left和right按钮调整再进行测试显示情况。

　　3.显示效果满意之后，按show，在终端会输出"1024x768"94.501024109311681376768769772808 hsync vsync的出现。记下这行输出

　　4.先做个备份：sudo/etc/X11/xorg.conf/etc/X11/xorg.conf.bak

　　再编辑显示配置文件：sudo gedit /etc/X11/xorg.conf。然後找到Section"Monitor"中当前分辨率的那段，你应该会看到类似Modeline"1024x768"94.501024109311681376768769772808 hsync vsync这样的语句（没有的话就将记下来的东西在开头加Modeline，将它添加到EndSection的前面），按照刚才记下来的东西修改其中的相应位置的数值，改完後保存文件为原来的xorg.conf，注销，然後重起即可（在显示登录界面的时候可能还有偏移，但是进入系统之后就正常显示了）。
