真心希望hiweed2.0正式版基于8.04.2

因为8.10对宽屏液晶支持不好
而hiweed2.0又基于8.10

可能是 8.10 生成的 xorg.conf 质量不高，装过 8.04 把配置复制过来就可以了吧。

提示不支持显示器
还好
我的旧电脑显示器还在
接上新电脑安装了
安装后把显卡驱动也安装了
换回液晶就好了

楼上的请教一下：配置信息都挪出 xorg.conf，那么这些信息搬到哪里了？xserver 从哪里去找配置信息？

我发现，我把 xorg.conf 删除了， xserver 也可以启动。很奇怪。

我不知道，也有这样的疑惑。我只知道 Ubuntu 的宗主 Debian 也在做这样的事，装过 Lenny 后生成的 xorg.conf 那叫一个垃圾，把 8.04 的复制过去马上正常了。我最喜欢的 displayconfig-gtk 包也被丢弃了，真不知道开发者怎么想的。

显然 xorg 正在努力做到自动检测、配置硬件 而不是完全依赖 xorg.conf 。我很赞同这样做。

你习惯了 xorg.conf ，不觉得它复杂。事实上它给新手带来很大痛苦。

的确，楼上几位兄弟说的对，对于新手而言，自己配置xorg.conf简直就是恶梦！
对于Xorg加强自动检测方面绝对是好事，象楼主这样的熟手或高手，不满意还可以另外再生成Xorg.conf文件的。

不过，我对于自动检测生成的Xorg.conf确实也觉得太简了，也很想知道那些不在Xorg.conf里的各种配置选项到底是从哪里读出来的，怎么生成的？
