ubuntu 8.10中文版里的google earth里中文字符显示为方框

所有的中文都是方框，但是系统本身显示中文是正常的，只能把google earth的语言改为英语，不知道这是为什么？

我的也是，折腾了几次之后放弃了。我只是想看街景，现在直接用maps.google.com了。
