关于XP下外接硬盘安装Ubuntu9.04刷系统求教

晚生第一次接触桌面linux系统,安装过程中遇到很多问题,折腾了一天,终于可以勉强进入Ubunt系统,但XP无法进入了~~
原本是XP(MCE)系统的笔记本 外接500G 3.5寸硬盘,本准备在外接硬盘上划100G安装ubuntu,未遂 。装完重启 不规则出现错误17和21,只能用liveCD进入临时系统。后将外接硬盘完全用作Ubuntu,并在开机时按esc手动选择外接硬盘启动,才出现多系统引导页面,可进入Ubuntu系统,若选择xp则出现错误11。(如果开机时不用esc选择又会出现错误17)。看了几篇关于外接硬盘双系统安装的教程,并试着更改,仍不起作用。XP始终无法进入,要用的软件都在xp里,想请教下有没有什么办法使xp恢复正常,最好是不要重装XP,工程太大了~
