welll,i also couldn't install the latest ubuntu by wubi~
at the first stage,i have to instal ubuntu8.10 without chinese input~
ubuntu8.04 is kingway ,right? :em04

你完全可以不用wubi来的，自己按照网上的教程给xp或者vista加个grub的启动项目，然后安装，以后基本一劳永逸了

要想用Ubuntu (Linux) 就好好的装一个，也许Wubi是个好东西，但是我不喜欢它。

所以，楼主的观点我不同意，只同意8.04不错，不同意9.04不好。
