fcitx question

I'm sorry that I cant type Chinese right now.

I uninstalled scim and try to install fcitx, and modified some files like

"update-alternatives --install /etc/X11/xinit/xinput.d/all_ALL xinput-all_ALL /etc/X11/xinit/xinput.d/fcitx 30
im-switch -z en_US.UTF-8 -s fcitx
然后修改下面的文件：
/usr/lib/gtk-2.0/2.10.0/immodule-files.d/libgtk2.0-0.immodules
把im-xim.so相关的项改为下面这样（即增加一个“en”），否则在en_US的locale下调不出输入法（如果使用zh_CN的locale就不必改了，不过我喜欢英文的locale，下面说明）：
"/usr/lib/gtk-2.0/2.4.0/immodules/im-xim.so"
"xim" "X Input Method" "gtk20" "/usr/share/locale" "en:ko:ja:th:zh"
firefox启动脚本里不要做改动，否则反而不能输入中文。 "

btw, my locale is :

right now, I can see the fcitx bar on the top of my screen,(see the attachment), buy I don't konw how to active the Chinese input!
there's no response when I press ctrl+space or ctrl + shift.

what's the problem with it?

Same problem happened to me before...

You can add the language encode to your locale file which path is /var/lib/locales/supported.d/

Sometimes create new file named "zh" and "en" to store their language for each one !

here ,you should add the language encode containing "zh" in one of the above referred ones !

代码： 全选

im-switch -s fcitx

and edit ~/.fcitx/config ,modify "中文字体=<chinese font>"

指定一个中文字体就行了，比如

[程序]
显示字体(中)=WenQuanYi Bitmap Song
显示字体(英)=WenQuanYi Bitmap Song
显示字体大小=9
主窗口字体大小=9
字体区域=zh_CN.UTF-8
使用AA字体=1
使用粗体=1
