then chmod +x ~/amsn

now create a link in your panel with the command /home/user/amsn
click on it, go to tools -> preferences -> others and replace play $sound with esdplay $sound

然后运行chmod +x ~/amsn

现在在你的面板上用命令创建一个到/home/user/amsn的链接

click on it, go to tools -> preferences -> others and replace play $sound with esdplay $sound
点击它，到菜单中的tools -> preferences -> others中将用play $sound改为用esdplay $sound即可。

　　文章是翻了，但由于AMSN是用Tcl/Tk编写的，而目前该编程语言对中文支持可以说是极差，所以虽然AMSN是一个不错的程序，但是要是用它来进行中文聊天，还是不行的，一定是乱码，除非如摩托学园中所讨论的那样打上中文补丁才行！
　　唉！老外什么时候才会重视中文化呢，FontConfig如此，Tcl/Tk也是如何！郁闷呀！！
