Ubuntu9.0.4升级后的屏幕变窄问题！－－－－方案征询中！

Inspiron700装Ubuntu9.0.4，然后更新源等软件后就屏幕变窄了。两边黑框，分辨率为1024x768,无法调高！
但是奇怪的是进入Guest帐户却屏幕正常，1280x800没问题！

试用下载安装xresprobe软件的方法，没有凑效！希望有经验的老手指点一二！

重装显卡驱动试试看

不知道你的什么显卡,尝试修改xorg.conf指定分辨率看看

谢谢二位回音！机子是Inspiron700的。显卡类型 还得用软件查一查。驱动应该是好的因为转换到非Root帐户就好了！我再试试看！

问题解决了－－－另类方案！

苦熬大半夜，终于采用了逃的办法。给其他新建用户以Adm的权限，废弃安装时指定的默认帐户。这样1280X800的分辨率在新用户这里可用，窄屏问题就逃离了！

因为是默认只读属性，故需强行修改，或需登录root改变其文件属性！

做小白的感觉真不爽，只好这样不了了之！

现在基本上搬家到新用户这里了。也明白屏幕变窄的问题是升级与更新引起的了。因为每个用户的软件更新管理似乎是独立的。所以更新并不总是好事情。以后这个用户不在全部更新了！除非确认好了自己的需求！
