编译2.6.18.1内核后，进不去X-WINDOW

刚刚编译完，只能进入字符界面！进不去X-WINDOW！

我的OS是：UBUNTU6.0.6 显卡是：NV的GF4

原来的内核2.6.15完全正常

提示错误： Failed to start the X Server

试试

nvidia换成nv试试：OK！
不过有点BUG，NV的驱动用不了，而且启动画面没有，即选择了2.6.18后就是灰屏，直到DOSFSCK 检查出现

现在还没有 2.6.18的驱动包。手动安装太麻烦

编译内核的后果，就是不如用gentoo了。要不以后的debian包依赖多半出问题。
