有关移动硬盘装Ubuntu9.04的引导问题。。。

在移动硬盘上装了u9.04 ，安装的时候写入引导到移动硬盘了，结果不能正常引导到移动硬盘中的u，
然后用grubinst在xp下处理了一下，结果启动的时候会死在一个
TRY(HD0,0) EXT2:上。。。
ps：我的文件系统是ext4.。。。。。囧啊。
为了这个移动Ubuntu我可是已经折腾了一暑假了。。。。

我也是在USB移动硬盘上安装的UBUNTU 9.04，并没有出现楼主的问题。
我认为不应该存在主从盘的问题，因为UBUNTU（至少9.04）是通过UUDI来识别启动分区的，不管你怎么改引导顺序，UUID是不变的。
想问一下楼主是怎么安装的UBUNTU的？从光盘还是从硬盘？
从XP进行GRUBINST之前所谓的“无法引导进UBUNTU”具体是怎么个情况呢？
从XP安装的GRUB是GRUB4DOS吗？

我也是新手，说的可能不好，见谅！
