什么显卡？系统--首选项--显示，可以设置分辨率的。如果还不行，可以试试启用受限驱动后，配置之，设置之。

系统--系统管理--硬件驱动。
启用后，需要进纯终端运行配置命令nvidia-xconfig,可以用sudo nvidia-setting设置分辨率。。。更详细的看硬件支持板块的置顶贴。
应用程序->附件->终端（右击之，可以添加到面板)，可以进入X模拟终端；Ctrl+Alt+F1~F6进入纯终端，有些操作必须在纯终端下才能进行，例如安装Nvidia官方驱动。

对了！我在nvida x server settings中没有1440这个选项的！
